  5. Backfill soil around bucket, leaving top accessible
  6. Position Zoeller M53 pump on raised floor platform
  7. Connect discharge hose to pump (hose clamp recommended, not included)
  8. Route discharge hose to foundation exit point
  9. Ensure exterior discharge is 10-20+ feet from foundation
  10. Plug pump into GFCI-protected outlet
  11. Test operation by pouring water into bucket
